One-time project · starts with a Policy Readiness Call

Policies and Procedures

A complete policy library for behavioral health providers, written to your accreditor's standards and your state's rules, and organized so your team can actually use it.

Built for the survey and every day after

Policies on paper aren't the same as policies people follow.

Most providers start with a binder of borrowed templates. They name the wrong agency, skip your programs and contradict each other, and a surveyor can see it fast. Your staff can too, which is why nobody opens them.

A Policies and Procedures project builds your library from your real organization: your programs, your settings, your accreditor's manual and your state's licensing rules. Every policy is tagged to the standards it answers, linked to the forms and logs that prove you follow it, and stored somewhere your team can find it.

What's in a policy project

Built for behavioral health, peer recovery and community health organizations preparing for accreditation, licensing or a funder review.

Your policy library

  • Governance, leadership and finance
  • Hiring, training, supervision and credentialing
  • Rights, grievances and informed consent
  • Health, safety and environment of care
  • Program-specific procedures for each service you offer

Written to your standards

  • Tagged to your accreditor's standards: CARF, COA or The Joint Commission
  • Standards crosswalks for CARF, COA and The Joint Commission, so every requirement points to the document that meets it
  • Aligned with your state's licensing rules
  • HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality, layered correctly
  • Procedures for non-traditional settings, like a program inside a county jail

Proof you follow them

  • Forms, logs and checklists for each policy
  • Cross-references between related documents
  • Version control and an approval workflow
  • An annual review tracker so you stay current after the survey
How the project works

Scope. Write. Hand off.

A policy project is a defined build with a clear finish line, scoped from what your readiness call finds.

01

Start with a readiness call

In a $199 Policy Readiness Call, we compare what you have with what your accreditor or licensing body will look for, then send a gap summary and a fixed quote.

02

Build the outline

We list every document you need and tag each one to the standards it answers, so nothing is missed and nothing is written twice.

03

Write and cross-reference

We draft each policy, procedure and form to fit how your organization really works, with review rounds for your leadership.

04

Organize and hand off

Your library lands in a searchable home like Notion or SharePoint, with a review tracker and a walkthrough for your team.

Projects from $6,000, quoted after a readiness call

Scope depends on how many programs you run, which standards apply and how much you already have. Start with a $199 Policy Readiness Call: one hour comparing your current policies with your accreditor and state requirements. Within two business days you'll get a one-page gap summary and a fixed quote. The $199 counts toward your project if you book within 30 days.

Questions about policy projects

Do I need Strategic Mapping first?

No. Policy projects start with a $199 Policy Readiness Call. If the call shows your challenges go beyond policies, we'll recommend Strategic Mapping as well.

Do you only write policies for CARF?

No. We write policies for organizations preparing for CARF, COA (Council on Accreditation) or The Joint Commission, as well as state licensing. Most of our work is with behavioral health and peer recovery organizations. Working toward a different accreditor? Bring it to a free connection call and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.

Can you update the policies we already have?

Yes. Your readiness call looks at what exists, so we keep what works, fix what doesn't and only write what's missing.

How long does a policy project take?

It depends on the number of programs and standards involved. Your quote includes a timeline, and we plan backward from your survey or licensing date when you have one.

Who owns the finished policies?

You do. Everything is delivered in your own tools, in editable files, with a review tracker so your team can keep it current.

What's the difference between this and the Starter Day-One Set?

The Starter Day-One Set is a do-it-yourself foundation of 41 templates you edit yourself. A policy project is a full library written for your organization, mapped to your standards and handed off ready for review.
